More FAQ's
Do I need to return my sample mask after I have tried it?
No, the mask in the trial pack is yours to keep. We are unable to accept any returns on masks for health and hygiene reasons.
Do the masks have a pocket so you can put a filter in it?
These masks do not have a filter pocket. They are crafted from soft, antimicrobial-finished fabric similar in feel to your favorite active-wear garment and also have a mesh moisture-wicking lining. They can be worn over other masks, such as N95 masks.
Where do you ship from and how do I know if it's currently in stock or on back order?
All orders are shipped from Melbourne, Australia. We always carry items in stock in our Melbourne warehouse except in the following cases - when we are launching a new product and allow customers to pre-order, or when stock has sold out and we are expecting new inventory. When stock is not available the product listing will display a flag telling you that you can pre-order your face masks.
Are the masks medical grade, like N95 masks?
These masks are not a replacement for medical-grade protective equipment, and should not be used in surgical or clinical settings. Fabric masks have been recommended for personal use in certain situations (such as travel and where social distancing is not possible). Please continue to follow local guidelines, practice social distancing, hand-washing, avoid touching your face, and obey relevant stay-at-home orders as applicable in your area.
Can I get these masks in other colours or prints?
The trial pack is available in limited colours. Our 5-pack of masks has a broader range of colours available (subject to stock availability). See this listing for our 5-pack of Jaanuu Reusable Face Masks.
How do masks protect against viruses if they're non-medical?
Face masks are a simple and cost-effective way to help reduce the spread of respiratory droplets between people. They are particularly important where social distancing is not possible. Please see your local guidelines regarding when and where mask use is recommended or required.
